Dan Aux is an Auckland DJ, music producer and radio host with more than 25 years behind the decks. His background includes 16 years on George FM, national radio work with ZM and a monthly show on Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM.
There is no standard playlist. Every set responds to the event, the audience and the atmosphere as it develops—from the early arrivals through to the busiest moment of the dance floor.
Dan’s open-format sets can move naturally between house, dance, disco, funk, hip-hop, R&B, pop and party classics.

Can the music be tailored to our event?
Yes. Dan works from your preferences, the audience and the desired atmosphere rather than relying on one fixed playlist. Requests and must-play or do-not-play guidance can be discussed before the event.
Can I book a DJ at short notice?
Yes, when the date is available. Dan’s experience makes it possible to prepare quickly for urgent bookings, cancellations and events arranged with limited lead time.
Does Dan perform outside Auckland?
Yes. Bookings are available throughout Waikato and the Bay of Plenty, as well as elsewhere in New Zealand. Include the venue or town in your enquiry so travel can be considered.
What information should I include in my enquiry?
The date, venue or location, event type, expected guest numbers, approximate performance times and any early ideas about the music. It is fine if some details are still undecided.
